Crystal Springs – Peach Tripel – fruited Belgian style Tripel
This beer pours a lightly cloudy golden color with a small fizzy white head. Sweet, yet lightly tart, peach aromas hit your nose up front, followed by Belgian yeast esters and bready malts. The carbonation and body both sit at a medium level and the beer has a slightly dry finish. Peach flavors hit your tongue up front, but lighter than on the nose, followed by fruity Belgian yeast, bready malts and a light bitterness on the mid-palate. Hints of pear come through on the finish with some more peach, and a light booziness before finishing slightly dry. Review by Dan Chacon
Prairie Ales – The Tropicals – imperial kettle sour
This tropical sour pours a hazy amber, with an almost non-existent head. The aroma gives strong tropical fruit, pineapple, and guava. The flavor follows with an intense hit of mango, pineapple and guava, while the sour that follows is similarly strong, but not overpowering, and contributes a nice tart finish. The overall mouth feel is light with relatively low carbonation. Review by Stefan Walberg
Melvin – Cloudy 5000 – hazy imperial IPA
It pours an opaque, pale orange color with a large, dense and foamy, white head that leaves a good amount of lacing. Fruity aromas of orange and peach hit your nose up front, backed by citrusy hops, oats, and grainy malts. It has a medium-heavy body with medium-light carbonation creating a smooth, almost juice-like mouth feel. Notes of peach, papaya, and orange lead, with citrusy hops and grainy malts mid-palate. The peach notes resurface on the finish with a light bitterness. Review by Dan Chacon
Sanitas – Everyday Mountain Pils – Czech style pilsner
This collab between Sanitas and bosc brewing pours a clear gold color, with a light effervescent head. The aroma starts almost floral with yeast and light breadiness. The taste follows with a bright refreshing open, slight floral hints, and a sweet malt and bread finish. With a light body and strong carbonation, this is a super refreshing beer perfect for summer. Crooked Stave – Smooth Jazz Berry – fruited oak aged sour
This imperial sour was conditioned on raspberries and vanilla in oak barrels. It pours an extremely cloudy, strawberry red color with a small, fizzy, off-white head. Aromas of sweet, tart raspberries, lemony citrus, and light wild yeast funk hit the nose. The body is medium-light with bright, popping carbonation. On the palate: oak and raspberries up front, then citrus, grainy malts, hints of vanilla mid-palate, and lemony funk to finish. Review by Dan Chacon
Avery – Highliner – New England style hazy IPA
This IPA by Avery pours a hazy yellow, with a light head that fades quickly. The aroma has typical hop elements and a soft tropical sweetness. The flavor starts with well-rounded hops, followed by a light fruit profile of mango and pineapple. With a medium body and crisp carbonation, this is a smooth, easy-drinking hazy IPA.
